I do not know whether he is working on it or not..other than making that fantastic mockup. but i wants it!!! as soon as possible!! :D

Anywayz, here is my attempt at making that gdm.. as a matter of fact.. its under progress. All ive got so far is a login window made in gimp and the background i found off of some photo sharing website.. i don't know its real author.

:( I cannot make gdm's.. As a matter of fact, all i understand is gimp. The xml part.. nah.. i dont know how to do xml.
so if anybody is willing to do the xml please go ahead use the gimp file i have included, and code the xml part please.

Ive tried doing it and have had minimal success with orienting the various parts around. plus logggin in and out repeatedly to preview is a pain in the @$$. not to mention using the rulers in gimp to orient the different parts of the login window. Oh how i wish there was an easier drag and drop GUI solution to creating GDMs.

Just doing my part on bringing a better desktop to life. :)

I like this GDM so much, I'll give it a shot. I dunno if I can do it though :)

Also, to avoid logging in and out just install xnest and then run this command:

gdmflexiserver --xnest

So, I redid the main box in Inkscape.

but I still dunno where the wallpaper is from.
